Over the last nine years, I worked with children and families in a variety of settings including a community mental health center, a school, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and an outpatient clinic. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While at UMass Amherst, my research focused on the development and treatment of child psychopathology and the risk and resiliency factors associated with the development of these problems.
I completed a pre-doctoral internship at the VTCC/VCU Medical Center. While at VTCC, I gained expertise on an inpatient psychiatric unit treating children with severe mental health disorders and challenging behavioral problems. I then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University/Kennedy Krieger Institute in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic.

Using my extensive training, I began my practice as an independently licensed psychologist in 2016.
